CONGRATULATIONS JEFF MULLICAN FOR BEING NAMED GATEWAY PGA TEACHER OF THE YEAR!
JEFF WAS ALSO NAMED BY GOLF DIGEST AS “ONE OF THE BEST TEACHERS IN MISSOURI!
Jeff began his teaching career as an assistant for Hank Haney, former coach to Tiger Woods and host of Golf Channel’s, The Haney Project. Working for Haney was an invaluable experience and is the basis of Jeff’s teaching philosophy. As a college student, Jeff was the captain of the Southern Illinois University-Carbondale golf team. Jeff went on to play the Hooters Tour for three years and returned to the Gateway PGA Section in 1996, where he won several tournaments. Jeff has been teaching at Golf Headquarters since 1998. In recent years, Jeff has been named a U.S. Kids Top 50 teacher, 2009 PGA Junior Golf Leader, and has been a Gateway PGA Section finalist for Teacher of the Year numerous times. He is recognized as one of the area’s most sought-after golf instructors.
“I set a goal at the age of fourteen to become a professional golfer. Jeff’s dedication to my game helped me hit the milestones to accomplish my goal. Anyone who wants to improve their golf game or aspires to become a professional golfer need only call Jeff and he will help you reach your goals.”
–Jaclyn Burch former Lafayette, Florida State, and LPGA Symetra Tour.
“Jeff Mullican is a dedicated, hardworking, and reliable teacher who loves what he does, especially for others. Over the fourteen years that we have worked together he has improved my game remarkably thus I was able to achieve many accomplishments in my career. I had my first-ever professional win on the 2019 Eggland’s Best Pro Tour, one top-five and two-top ten finishes in collegiate events including the 2016 SEC Championship, finished second in the 2016 Transnational Amateur, and won 2012 Missouri State High School Championship. His genuine character doesn’t stop at the teaching studio; he truly cares about others and emits positivity to anyone who walks through the doors. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn the golf game!”
– Amanda Kim, WAPT Player
In 2010, Jeff opened a state-of-the-art indoor teaching facility at Golf Headquarters that allows him to provide year-round instruction, regardless of weather conditions. The facility, sponsored by TaylorMade, is equipped with V1 Pro Software which allows the golf swing to be viewed simultaneously from two angles, allowing students to make corrections to their swing during analysis. Jeff provides instruction for all levels of golfers from beginner to professional, in both group and individual settings.
